Thanks to all!!!
This years ride was a great success thanks to you who participated! We were able to raise close to 4K for our brother and his family.
In fact they left for ATL two days later and the Baxleys were able to use the monies raised to pay for housing and food(they will be in Atlanta for at least 2 weeks to a month).
Update: Baby Madison was born on Wednesday Sept 30 at lbs. and 15oz at 1103 am. The only significant issue after delivery was some slight difficulty breathing which is being controlled by high flow nasal canula. Ashley has recovered well. Madi is being given a medication to keep the heart valve that closes after birth open due to the Dr’s fears that the coarctation will become worse if it closes. Her surgery will hopefully be in the middle of next week, Her recovery will mainly depend on her.
My family and I thank you for all the continued thoughts and prayers and everything else our local brotherhood has done for us we can never thank you enough. Thanks again Matt.
Also thank you to Fire & Iron club chapter 55 for helping out with the cookout at the last stop, Starbucks, Krispy creme, Prestonhood Chevy, Destin Beach safety & DFD Local brothers, The Florida Professional Firefighters, many other volunteers who helped pull this thing off!
